The novel “Five Views of Spring Fire” by Ukrainian writer Oleg Polyakov continues the tradition of new “bizarre” prose, which the author began in his previous works.
This is a story about noble Ukrainian hearts, full of great love for the world and modesty towards themselves. Such people will never be remembered by social networks, and this is the duality (irony? riddle? whim?) of our world, since their names are already written on heavenly tablets.
Here they are, five, sitting by the fire, drinking, smiling, dancing, and we cannot understand what really brought them here - chance, someone's will or fate? This mystery will have to be unraveled, going through each of the heroes through their difficult lives - with losses and wounds, disappointment and hope, nobility and love. In the end, five different stories will weave into one plot — rough, true, and magical, with a hint of bitter tobacco and a touch of tenderness.
