"Semen's Stars" is an allegorical fairy tale, where every image and character is not accidental, and every event that happens to the main character prompts him to deep philosophical thoughts and important conclusions, contributes to personal growth.
In Stary Plavnye, which stretches along Borysthene on one side and is surrounded by a rampart on the other, lives a young man, Semyon. He has amazing clear blue eyes, deep as the Sky itself. The guy loves Vasylinka, they plan to get married, Semyon even arranges the house to bring his young wife there. However, before getting married, the young man decides to travel beyond the ramparts to see the village from another side. Semyon's biggest dream is to learn how to light stars.
