The rights to the English translation were granted to Mavka by an American director and translator with Ukrainian roots Virlyana Tkach. For the first time in Ukraine, he will be released as a separate book along with the original Lesya Ukrainsky. The translation was co-written with the American poet Wanda FIPS, and translators received the prestigious National Theater Translation Fund Award. Virlyana Tkach created two adaptations of the play, which she staged in New York, receiving critical acclaim.
