British writer Susan Cooper lives in Paris and is known worldwide for her numerous detective novels. While preparing for a trip to the Monaco Book Fair, she receives a message via Instagram: “I killed him. Please help me.”
What should I say to this strange message? And should I? The most sensible thing to do would probably be to ignore it. However, as you know, writers are naturally curious people... Her curiosity was piqued, and this was enough for Susan Cooper to find herself at the center of incredible adventures, applying her theoretical knowledge to cover up a crime.
At the same time, a detective and a comedy, with subtle English humor and advice for novice novelists, “Life is not a novel by Susan Cooper” shows us that the line between fiction and reality is sometimes blurred. And at some point we can no longer understand what is true and what is fiction.
