In the new book of short prose, the poet, prose writer and publicist Stanislav Aseev appears before us as a subtle lyricist, whose works emerge as if from time, from twilight, as if you are seeing the events described in a dream. Known to the general public primarily as a publicist, author of the books "The Bright Path: The Story of a Concentration Camp" and "In Isolation" (for the latter he received the Shevchenko Prize in the nomination Publicism and Journalism), Stanislav will surprise readers with poignant multi-genre texts that were written between 2011 –2021 years. In them, a charming lady illuminates the darkness of an indifferent city with her tears, a priest and a murderer are forced to share one prison cell for two, lovers go to the ends of the world, and a businessman-merchant knows how to calculate his whole life on a calculator.
The book also contains a diary that the author kept in 2014-2016. Starting with the infamous "parade of prisoners" in Donetsk and ending with the funeral of the terrorist Motorola, Stanislav captures his own emotions and thoughts step by step: what a person experiences when the whole familiar world collapses before his eyes, the cannonade tears the sky above his head, and God did not stop the world massacre, did not save millions of innocent people from suffering and death, did not go down to Auschwitz - is it worth waiting for him here in Donetsk?
